Senior Engineer

Gibson Integration is currently recruiting engineers responsible for all aspects of the installation and commissioning of Audio Visual (AV) equipment in our clients homes. Our projects range from single one room solutions to fully integrated home automation solutions. We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced engineers to join our engineering team. Our main office is based in Fulham but you will be required to operate in London, the Home Counties and the occasional overseas secondment.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5 years relevant experience within the industry, preferably in the top-end residential sector
  • Detailed knowledge of residential AV, control (Crestron, Control 4), Lutron lighting, IT and Wi-Fi networks
  • Ability to be pro-active, make recommendations and demonstrate leadership.
  • A good communicator and ability to work with clients, site managers, architects and interior designers.
  • Ability to project manage ensuring that client requirements and agreed specification are delivered on time and to budget
  • The ability to read and work from building plans and wiring schematic
  • A valid CSCS card
  • A clean and current driving licence

SALES TEAM OPPORTUNITIES


Gibson Integration is looking for both full-time and part-time sales representatives based in Central London.

Working as part of the sales team you will be required to develop relationships and win new business. You will be a good listener and able to understand client requirements and lifestyle in order to provide proposals to clients which will turn their vision into an intuitive technology solution. The ability to work with other specialists in the team is key.


RESPONSIBILITES

  • Assisting with the strategic business development
  • Identifying and developing opportunities
  • Meeting new and existing clients to discuss project requirements
  • Assisting with presentations to architects, interior designers and M&E consultants
  • Reviewing quotations to ensure that they align with client specification and ensuring that these are presented concisely and professionally.
  • Maintaining and building client relationships
  • Liaising with clients on project progress and assisting with client handover at project completion
  • Significant input on social media as well as the Gibson Integration and Gibson Cinema website.


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE 

The candidate will ideally have at least 3 years sales experience in this role or another role in this industry but are looking to move into a sales position.

A good knowledge of the top-end residential market and key clients in the industry (architects, interior designers) would be an advantage.

Client focused, commercially aware with an understanding of all aspects of the audio-visual, home cinema, home automation and lighting control industry coupled with a broad understanding of Crestron, Lutron and Control4.
